We love giraffes! Ask us why!

We wrote a poem about the reasons we like giraffes, using the word because.  We know that Big Elephants Can Always Understand Small Elephants as well :)

Carnival

Our final topic for the year is Carnival! We will be looking at carnivals and festivals from around the world. To begin with, we have been studying the classical music piece, 'Carnival of the animals' by the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns. We can identify the different animals just by listening to the music and we have also learned all about the different musical instruments in an orchestra.

We have also been drawing the animals in their habitats and writing poems about them.
